Tina & Keke’s babies arrive!

We are delighted to announce the safe arrival earlier today, of Tina and Keke‘s beautiful babies.

There are 4 boys and 1 girl – all red & white.

Canine mum and bubs are doing well – human mum and dad need to catch up on some sleep though.

We have just returned from the Vet where we had Tina ultrasounded, and we are delighted to confirm that she is pregnant.

Tina and Keke’s puppes will be due around May 16.

Keke and Tina just adore each other!

2010 Mating has occurred

We are delighted to announce our 2010 mating has recently occurred.

We are having just the one litter this year, and all things going well the pups will be due around May 18.

The parents of this litter are our handsome Finnish import Keke and our beautiful Specialty Best in Show winning girl Tina.

Whilst we were not planning on running on two girls, we had difficulty deciding between them, so they will both stay with us for the time being.

Their first shows will be at the end of August.

Lots of new photos (both formal stacked and fun shots) of Keke and Kimmy’s babies.

They are 8 weeks old now, and some of them will soon be going to their new homes. It will be sad to see them go, but they are going to wonderful homes where they will be spoiled and much loved.

I finally have been able to access my photo album software (I still don’t have my new computer though ), and have been able to upload lots of new photos to the puppies photo album .

I still don’t have my new notebook yet, but thanks to a loaned PC, I have been able to upload some 6 weeks old stacked photos of Kimmy & Keke‘s pups.

I can’t believe that they are now 7 weeks old. It won’t be long before some of them will be leaving for their new homes!

Puppies get their official names

We just received the registration papers back for our puppies.

They puppies are officially known as:

Mzalia Comedy Festival (girl)
Mzalia Comedy Cafe (girl)
Mzalia Comedy Inc (girl)
Mzalia Comedy Club (boy)
Mzalia Komedy Zone (boy)

Sadly we did not get all of the names that we wanted (which also meant that one of our names is spelt funny due to DogsSA requirements when lodging alternative names on the registration forms) – bit of a shame as it spoils our naming pattern

Puppies are 6 weeks old

It’s hard to believe Kimmy & Keke‘s pups are now 6 weeks old.

They are doing really well. They are bright and bouncy, very active, and love making new friends.

We have just finished weaning them from mum, and they due to have their first vaccinations soon.

We have lodged the paperwork for Kimmy and Keke‘s babies, and pending ANKC confirmation, they will be officially known as:

Mzalia Comedy Commando (boy)
Mzalia Comedy Club (boy)
Mzalia Comedy Festival (girl)
Mzalia Comedy Cafe (girl)
Mzalia Comedy Ink (tri girl)

We have decided on “Comedy” for the theme of this litter, as their mother Kimmy, gets her name (Mzalia Look At Me) from the popular Australian Sit-Com “Kath and Kim“.
