Roy and Whoopee fall on hard times…
As if the news of Kaarn’s passing wasn’t hard enough to deal with yesterday, it also came to my attention that two of my older kids that I had previously placed into a pet home in Canberra had fallen onto hard times and found themselves in the Canberra Pound.
Roy (aka Aus Ch Mzalia Casino Royale) is a rising 8 year old red & white male, is desexed and both of his parents are Fanconi tested probably Clear/Normal.
Whoopee (aka Mzalia Making Whoopee) is a rising 3 year old red & white female. She is also desexed, microchipped and has been Fanconi tested probably Clear/Normal.
Prscilla Hickie of Kikongo Basenjis visited them in the pound for me and sent me the following:
Roy:
‘Roy’ is nearly 8yrs old. He has attained his Australian Champion title in the show ring and is a bit of a smooch.
Whoopee:
Very sweet girl. The home ‘Whoppee’ goes to will need to have the time to give her lots of attention and TLC. She really is a very sweet little girl.
Roy and Whoopee need to be placed together.
These kids are currently staying with Effi Salmon of Barzoom Basenjis near Canberra.
My sincere thanks go to Priscilla and Effi for letting me know about Roy and Whoopee’s plight, and everything they have done in checking them out and getting them out of jail so quickly.
