A couple of relaxing days on Kangaroo Island

David and I have just returned from a couple of lovely relaxing days touring around Kangaroo Island. It was my first visit to the island in over 20 years, and for David, it was the first time he had ever been off the Australian mainland!

It was wonderful being able to see the amazing scenery and wildlife, as well as sampling lots of the wonderful foods produced on the island. It would have been nice to have had longer over there, but it was a great way to recharge the batteries.

Whilst it was still very disappointing to miss the NSW Basenji Specialty for the first time since 1999, at least we were still able to manage to have a little time for us – and we were able to have our first “dog free” holday in 10 years.

I took lots of photos on the trip, and when I get the chance, I’ll put the best of them up on to my on-line Photo Album soon.
