Ben wins his first Class in Group

Congratulations to Ben (aka Mzalia Welcome Stranger) and his handler Millissa on winning his first Class in Group yesterday at the Lithgow & Districts Kennel Club Show. The judge was Basenji Specialist, Mrs Doreen Duffin of Makuba Basenjis in Victoria. Way to go team!

Chief Red Cloud to run again on April 5

I have just heard news from the stable that Chief Red Cloud has pulled up well after his debut on March 15, and has been pencilled in for another start on April 5 at Mornington. This race is a 1300m maiden for 2YOs.

I have just received the details of Chief Red Cloud’s first race start at Mornington on Sunday 15 March. He is No.3 in Race 4,¬†the “Eliza Drycleaners SV 2YO Maiden Plate”. There are 8 acceptors for the race, and Brad Rawiller has been booked for the ride. “Chief” will start from Barrier No. 6.

After a couple of recent jumpouts, Chief Red Cloud is set to make his racecourse debut in a 1200m 2YO Maiden at Mornington (Vic) on Sunday March 15. How exciting, as he is the first of my horses to make it to the races!
