We have been showing in Canberra for the last 4 days, and we have had a fun and successful visit.

Over the four days there were 2 All Breeds Shows and 2 Hound Club Shows, and we achieved the following results:

• Australian Bred in Show at both Hound Club shows for Tina
• Baby Puppy in Show at the first Hound Club show, and at the All Breeds Shows, a Baby in Group, Sweepstakes win and Sweepstakes 3rd Placement for Tina’s daughter Amy
• Two Challenges, a Best of Breed and a Runner-up Best of Breed for Keke

It was also great to catch up with fellow basenji exhibitors Priscilla Hickie of Kikongo Basenjis and Helen Church of Gaelifrey Basenjis over the weekend.

Now it is on to Sydney and the Basenji Specialty next Saturday. Keke’s breeder Anni Toikka is also over from Finland and I can’t wait to finally meet her!

I am also looking forward to seeing Keke’s reaction at seeing his “mum” again!
