It’s been soooo hard to keep this a secret for so long, but the news is now out!

After many months of planning, we are thrilled to announce our first ever import has arrived safely in Australia!

Vanguardian Real McCoy (aka “Keke”) has come to us from my dear friend Anni Toikka in Finland. We believe that Keke is the first basenji to come to Australia from Finland.

He is named after Keke Rosberg – the first Finnish Formula 1 World Champion, and winner of the first Australian F1 Grand Prix, run in my hometown of Adelaide, back in 1986. I think it is a very fitting name for our new boy!

My sincere thanks go to Anni for all of her efforts, and for allowing such a lovely boy to come to Australia.

I am heading off to Sydney in the morning, and I am really looking forward to meeting him!
